Job Description
A well-respected treatment provider in McLean, VA, who specializes in anxiety and mood disorders, is seeking a full-time Associate Clinical Director. The role will partner with the Clinical Director to manage outpatient and intensive outpatient treatment programs and support the clinical team in providing innovative, evidence-based treatment to individuals, groups, and families.
The Associate Clinical Director plays a key leadership role in supporting the organization's growth and operational excellence. This individual must be extremely detail-oriented and bring extensive experience in operations management, ensuring that clinical and administrative processes run seamlessly. With 7-10 years of relevant clinical expertise and a proven track record as a clinical supervisor, the Associate Clinical Director provides skilled oversight, guidance, and mentorship to clinical staff while upholding the highest standards of care.
Working collaboratively with the Clinical Director, this person demonstrates strong determination to support and sustain the site’s rapid growth while maintaining a thoughtful, empathetic, and approachable management style. Through both strategic and compassionate leadership, the Associate Clinical Director helps inspire positive change within the organization while ensuring quality outcomes for clients and staff alike.
Requirements:
Applicants must be an LPC, LCSW, or Psychologist.
Licensed (or license eligible) in the State of Virginia.
A minimum of 7 years of individual, group, and family therapy experience with a specialty using CBT, exposure therapies, and E/RP protocols in the treatment of Anxiety and OCD.
Experience/proficiency using E/RP protocols for OCD, and/or those who have a personal understanding of anxiety disorders and a professional passion for their treatment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a wide range of individuals/groups.
Flexible thinking with the ability to work with challenging cases in a fast-paced environment.
Clinical, operational, or research experience in an intensive outpatient or residential program.
Affinity to work with school/college-aged individuals and their parents.?
