PsychPros is a nationally recognized staffing and recruiting firm dedicated to the behavioral healthcare field. We are currently hiring a Housing Case Manager to work full-time with clients experiencing homelessness due to the Eaton Fire. This is a TEMPORARY ASSIGNMENT with no set end date and the potential for converting to a permanent position for a strong candidate.
Requirements-
2 years of experience in the human services field
OR a bachelor’s degree in Social Work or in a related field
Possess a valid California driver's license and have access to properly registered vehicle
Pay-
$23.50/hour
Schedule-
Monday-Friday 9am-5:30pm
Location-
Altadena, CA 91001
Responsibilities-
Manage a caseload of 20-25 families
Provide case management services
Collaborate with Housing Navigators to assist families in navigating the lease up process, and provide supportive services and resource linkage
Advocate for clients when needed
Engage households on a consistent basis to provide support related to goals
Transport participants as needed to essential appointments and conducts visits within the community and Los Angeles County
